This is my first time doing a Top Ten Tuesday! A weekly challenge that is originally hosted by Broke and Bookish (since 2010!!!) and this weeks theme is my most anticipated reads for the rest of this year. This was a little more difficult for me actually, because most of my 2017 reads that I have been looking forward to have been released. But it’s surprisingly easy to come up with a list of books that you want to buy.
10. One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake
The first one was beautiful, we shall see if the sequel can measure up.
9. Seven Stones to Stand or Fall by Diana Gabaldon
TBH I am a couple books behind in this series, but seeing as this is a collection of short stories, I can read it anytime I want so I’m throwing it in.
8. Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
I like her books and her beautiful, if not blunt at times writing, and it only gets better.
I do like to color and I freakin love this movie, so I’m counting this as one that I am excited for and putting on my XMAS list.
6. Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
I love the Grisha-verse and everything in it, so this collection of short stories is going up on the shelf with all her other books as soon as it comes out.
5. The Child by Fiona Barton
I didn’t particularly like The Widow, but it kept me turning the pages, and the writing wasn’t terrible, so I am curious to see if she can outdo herself in this next book.
4. A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Culess
This is the second book in a series, and the first one was pretty good! I can’t wait to dig into the second one and see where her new universe takes us!
3. Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King and Owen King
A world without women, written by Stevie. Need I say more??
2. Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
Now, to be honest with you I have already read and reviewed this book, but I loved it so much I had to stick it on this list. I can’t wait for it to come out in hardback so I can snatch it up, you guys are going to LOVE IT.
1. Atheists Who Kneel and Pray by Tarryn Fisher
My new favorite author has a new story coming out soon, no one knows when because she is just like that but OMG, look at that gorgeous cover.
